Brian Gage was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. His parents were both school teachers so he’s always had an interest in writing. An author of social satire and children’s literature, Brian has great interest in the politics and social causes affecting the world around us. He attended YSU before trying his hand at film school at The College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. After a year of study, he enrolled at The Ohio State University where he studied computer science and finally graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Brian then moved to San Francisco where he worked for a large corporation – filing papers and longing for casual Fridays. Soon he could take it no more and quit to pursue his writing career. Today, Brian lives in Hollywood, California and spends most of his time writing, studying politics, and playing classical piano. He is the author of The Saddest Little Robot, a Booksense 76 Children’s slection Winter 2003/2004. Jeff Petersen, illustrator, lives in San Francisco.
